Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming over the scores once again on Saturday night when they claimed the competition’s judges were “overrating” one of the final eight couples.

Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec took to the famous dance floor to perform the Quickstep during the latest live show.

And her dazzling performance left judges Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke in awe, giving her a combined score of 37.

Motsi and Shirley even gave the star a perfect 10, but judge Craig Revel Horwood seemed less impressed when he gave the couple an eight.

But BBC viewers disagreed, calling the performance “flat” and saying the house band “butchered” the song – Mariah Carey’s hit song Sweet Fantasy.

“Shirley talked about it when Tasha was bland and gave her a 10.”

And Craig seemed to be on the crowd’s side when he said: “I thought it was a little safe, I have to be honest,” as the crowd booed.

‘I felt like something was just missing tonight. I’m sorry.’

The new wave of criticism comes after Shirley hit baLook at the fans who were outraged to see Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin They will be the last couple to leave the competition last week.

Shirley came under fire earlier this month after fans of the BBC show revealed they believed the judges failed to rate Sam.

But now she has responded and reminded the public that their vote has an impact on who participates in the dance on Sunday nights.

The judge said: ‘The program has been going on for more than 20 years. The public vote makes a difference.’

The new wave of criticism comes after Shirley responded to fans who were left outraged to see Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin be the latest couple to leave the competition earlier this month.

The head judge, 64, snapped, confessing that she thought it was “childish” to blame the judges for the couple’s outcome.

‘You, the public, can vote to save your favorites. It is childish to blame the judges.

Sam and Nikita earned a score of 29 for their performance on American Smooth during last Saturday’s episode, landing them at the bottom of the rankings.

Then, after a public vote, they faced off in a shock dance against Montell Douglas and Johannas Radebe, in which the judges rejected them.

But the couple’s score left fans outraged as they claimed they had received an unfair score.

“If we don’t see Wynne or Pete at the dance next week, I’ll start.”
