Pastor and author Earl McClellan wants to be a positive influence in people’s lives by reminding them of the importance of God’s word.

In a recent discussion With Sadie Robertson Huff, she shared about her new book and reflected on some personal lessons she learned while creating it.

“I continued to pray about it, and I really felt impressed by God that I needed to take this step,” he said of writing his book, “Recover Your Spirit: Free Yourself from Negative Self-Talk and Move Forward to Wholeness.” Your calling.” “And one, it was a step of obedience and then number two, I felt like I wanted to do something that my kids could see that would take the lid off their lives.”

The pastor of Shoreline City Church explained the heart behind his book.

“In Christ, we are not a defeated, broken, discarded and forgotten people,” McClellan said. “No, we are sons and daughters of Almighty God, and that does not mean that our lives are perfect, obviously. It doesn’t mean that everything turns out the way we want all the time. We know that is not the case. But it does mean that our spirit has been changed and transformed, and we have been given not a spirit of fear but of power, love and a healthy mind.”

“If you have ever felt like you have more to give (leadership, courage, kindness) but have struggled to fully release these qualities, Recover your spirit It is the catalyst you need”, synopsis of the book. read. “Free yourself from the mindset that holds you back and stay confident in who God created you to be.”

McClellan explained why it is so important for us to listen to God’s word instead of our feelings, even when our negative feelings about ourselves are strong.

“Am I going to let my feelings and my behavior be the last word in my life or am I going to let the word of God be the last word in my life?” asked.

Recently, McClellan took to Instagram to remind his audience that God cares deeply about us.

In the post, the wrote“Today there will be many voices shouting at you and me saying ‘Look this way!’ ‘Trust me!’ But let these words of Jesus and the words of this song calm your soul and mine… Luke 12:7 ‘…Do not be afraid; You are worth more than many sparrows.’”

He continued: “There is a throne and it is completely occupied! And no matter what happens today in life, elections, business or anywhere else, Jesus will not move from His throne.”
