Tulsa King Season 2 is Here and It’s Breaking Streaming Records

I’m one of those annoying people who *has* to check Rotten Tomatoes before deciding. my next watch. It is not a foolproof method, but it helps to separate more elite tv shows of those that should go to the trash.

I recently came across a critically acclaimed TV show that’s breaking streaming records left and right, and we don’t control things here! tulsa king The second season was released on September 16 and has a great rating of 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Consider me sold.

He Sylvester StalloneThe directed show is an interesting spin on the mafia genre, focusing on the underdogs rather than someone in power. If you haven’t heard of Primary show +follows Stallone’s character, Dwight Manfredi, who served 25 years in prison for loyalty to his mob boss.

When he is released, he hopes to be revered or at least, you know, grateful for his service, but he faces a harsh reality. Instead of a warm welcome, Dwight is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he begins to form a new team.

Action star Stallone has garnered massive viewership numbers for the streamer. Paramount Global revealed that the premiere episode was viewed by 5.4 million households in its first week, with two million global views on the first day. You can’t argue with the fandom! If so many people tune in after the first season, just know the show is quality.

Stallone shared a few updates on Instagram celebrating the show’s win and sneakily dropped the information that the third season was greenlit.

“I’m elated and so proud of our cast because our show is up 75 percent from last year, which is unheard of, and season two got 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes! Plus, it’s the second most popular show in the world on all streaming services! Thank you very much and we are working on the third season right now,” he wrote.

“More than five million viewers in the first week! To say I am grateful is an understatement.”

So what does tulsa king *this* popular? Well, the man who came up with the concept of this program is none other than Taylor Sheridanwho has been throwing punch after punch. I honestly don’t know where he finds the time, but hey, I’m not complaining.

Sheridan is best known for creating yellow stone along with prequels 1883 and 1923. He is also responsible for Lioness, kingstown mayor and the next oil drama landman with Demi Moore.

Then you have Sly Stallone. While he is known as a brash action star who had his heyday in the ’80s, he has proven to be a strong creative force over the past four decades. Stallone wrote the script for Rocky in just three days, and was nominated for both Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars. He knows what works for the screen!

Interestingly, Sheridan wrote the original pilot before handing the reins to the showrunner and writer. terence winterwho says he trusts Stallone’s instincts.

“With him, you don’t just get an actor, you get a writer, a producer, a director, an editor, all of that. “He is incredibly detailed and really invested in the show and the character,” Winter said. tv guide.

“What I love about him is that he’s not the type of actor who’s always trying to protect himself and look good. “He doesn’t mind being the butt of the joke, or being self-deprecating, or letting Dwight make bad decisions.”

If you are looking for your next binge-worthy show filled with action, drama, and comedy, this show will be perfect for you. It has been described as a cross between yellow stone and The SopranosWhich seems right to me!

The first eight episodes of Tulsa King’s second season are now available to stream. only on Paramount+. Two more episodes will be released weekly on Monday, with the finale premiering on November 18.
