Many Los Angeles Lakers fans expected their team to get an easy win Monday night when they faced the Detroit Pistons.

Instead, Los Angeles was defeated by an invigorated Detroit and lost 115-103.

There were numerous problems for the Lakers, including the performance of one of their veteran stars.

As Courtside Buzz noted, Gabe Vincent had a very bad night, managing just one steal along with zero points on zero field goal attempts, zero rebounds, and one painful turnover.

During his 18 minutes on the court, Vincent did nothing, and that has a lot of people worried.

This is supposed to be a comeback season for Vincent, who only played in 11 games last season due to an injury problem.

When he was signed by the Lakers, Vincent was viewed as a straight-shooting guard who could space the floor and run the ball.

Instead, he has consistently struggled to find his shot.

He is averaging just 2.7 points and 1.0 rebounds so far this season with a field goal percentage of 29.6%.

Fans have not given up on Vincent because he is a talented star who has shown what he is capable of during his years with the Miami Heat, especially in the postseason.

But the Lakers can’t wait too long to get Vincent back on track.

Los Angeles’ bench has been surprisingly shallow this season and there are already cries for something to change.

The team simply cannot achieve success if the second unit is missing.

Will head coach JJ Redick sit down with Vincent and find a solution to his problems?

Or will you make the difficult decision to keep him on the bench for the good of the team?
