Interactive Behavior is giving Dead By Daylight players Iridescent Shards as compensation for owning duplicate DLC. This is part of the cross-progression update that was introduced earlier this year.

According to the Cross Progression FAQ“An additional 4,500 Iridescent Shards for duplicate DLC will be sent to players across multiple platforms in early November.” To receive these shards, you must ensure that your accounts on different platforms are synced or linked before November 6, 2024.

To be eligible for this compensation, you must have linked or synced your accounts across different platforms: PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Windows, or Epic Games. Additionally, you must have previously purchased the same DLC on these different platforms.

Unfortunately, there’s a disclaimer that says, “due to differences in cross-progression on Nintendo Switch, purchases made on Nintendo Switch are not eligible for these duplicate gifts.”
