Ocala gym teacher accused of sending inappropriate photos to girls via Snapchat

OCALA, FL. – An Ocala gym teacher is accused of sending “inappropriate content” to a 16-year-old via Snapchat, Ocala police said.

Isaiah Paige, 25, was arrested Tuesday. He is a gym teacher at First Assembly Christian School.

According to the department, the teen’s mother reported to police that she found “inappropriate content” sent by Paige on her child’s Snapchat.

“This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially for someone in a position of authority over children. We ask if anyone else has experienced similar behavior to please notify police,” police said in a news release.

Paige faces several charges, including possession of child pornography, promoting sexual performance by a child, assault on a student by an authority figure, transmitting harmful material to a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
