Kelly Rizzo thinks she knows how late husband Bob Saget would react to her dating

When Bob Saget died unexpectedly in 2022 after an accident at a Florida hotel, his wife of four years, Kelly Rizzo, was devastated.

Although Rizzo has since “moved on” with a new man, actor Breckin Meyer, whom she went public with in February, Saget is deeply entrenched in their relationship.

“Since day one, that’s been so important to Breckin. He knew what I went through, and he appreciated it and accepted it — and is always happy to talk about Bob,” she told E! News.

“It’s never like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to mention Bob. I don’t want Breckin to feel bad about that,'” Rizzo continued about their dynamic. “He has always been so friendly about it. It was very special. It is very nice that I was able to continue with him.”

She added that Meyer is probably the only man “Bob would be okay with” seeing her, and joked, “He’s like, ‘Okay, I’m not happy about this, but it has to be someone, let it be Breckin are. ”

Moving forward doesn’t mean we forget about the ‘Full House’ star. In fact, Rizzo says she still values ​​”all the wonderful parts of Bob,” including his daughters: Aubrey, 37, Lara, 35, and Jennifer, 31, from his first marriage to Sherri Kramer.

“It’s virtually impossible not to like Breckin,” she said. “He met Bob’s girls several times. We had dinner together. They love him. He adores them. It was really fun. They kind of welcomed him.”

Rizzo previously revealed that Saget’s daughters gave her the blessing to date again after their father’s death.

“It meant everything,” Rizzo told Fox News Digital last December about the girls’ gesture. “Even though you don’t think you need permission to do it, it meant the world to me to get their blessing and just know that they want me to be happy and that they love me. And those two said Bob did would do.” Me wanting to be happy meant everything because they are his children. They knew him best.”
