Firefighters climb through first floor window of Telford house to remove unattended pan from stove

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 11.44am (October 24) from a neighbor of the Madeley property expressing his concerns.

Two firefighters were sent to the scene from Telford Central and Tweedale fire stations. An operations officer was also present.

The fire brigade used extension ladders to gain access to the house through an open window on the first floor.

Firefighters removed a pan of unattended cooking from a stove and used positive pressure ventilation to make the scene safe.

The incident ended at 12:05 p.m.
