Vietnamese Truong My Lan was given a life sentence on additional fraud charges

A court in Vietnam has sentenced local tycoon Truong My Lan to life in prison on money laundering charges linked to the country’s biggest financial fraud case. This is the second time Lan has been tried in the case. She was sentenced to death on separate charges at the first trial in April and is currently appealing that sentence. Tung Ngo reports this.
