Driver sentenced to 18 years to life for fatal road rage incident in Baldwin

A driver who pleaded guilty to a fatal road rage incident in Baldwin was sentenced Tuesday to 18 years to life in prison.

Patrick Destine admitted to the attack in May.

Prosecutors say he kicked and stomped David McKenzie in the head after a crash in 2023. They say he was drunk at the time.

Destinine said nothing during his sentencing. The judge told him that he does not fit into society.
