NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) arrested a 37-year-old man on charges related to child sexual abuse material.

KSP arrested Robert Allen Tabor, 37, as a result of an undercover investigation into Internet crimes against children.

On November 12, officials executed a search warrant in Tompkinsville, Kentucky and seized equipment used to facilitate the crime.

Tabor was charged with eight counts of distributing material depicting a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12. Authorities said the charges are punishable by five to 10 years in prison.

KSP arrested Tabor at the Barren County Detention Center.
