DALLAS Pray. (KPTV) – A Dallas man was arrested Saturday after allegedly shooting and killing his brother.

Alonzo Rowell, 51, was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and recklessly endangering another person.

Rowell allegedly shot and killed his brother Tony Miller, 54, at one of their homes, before driving to the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, Rowell’s former workplace, according to the County District Attorney’s Office. by Polk.

He then allegedly had a brief confrontation with the Salem Police SWAT team before being arrested.

Rowell was arraigned Tuesday and denied bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 19.
