Handmaid’s Tale Shares First Look at Season 6 Ahead of Spring Release Window

The Handmaid’s Tale has shared a first look at the sixth and final season.

Ahead of its release in spring 2025, several production images have been released showing new looks at key characters such as June (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena (Yvonne Strahovski).

The sinister-looking images also show Nick (Max Minghella), Moira (Samira Wiley) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) looking at the camera.

The images are from the first three episodes, two of which were directed by Moss.

Production of new episodes. started a few months agowhich arrives two years after the fifth season concluded.

Confirming the start of filming in September, the program wrote in Instagram: “Guess who’s back? Production on the final season has officially begun. #TheHandmaidsTale will return in Spring 2025.”

The Handmaid’s Tale is based on the book by Margaret Atwood, and is set in a dystopian United States called Gilead in which fertile women are subjugated to be slaves with children known as ‘Handmaids’.

The show was renewed for its sixth and final season in 2022and creator Bruce Miller said: “It has been a true honor to tell the story of Margaret Atwood’s groundbreaking novel and chillingly relevant world, and we are thrilled to offer viewers a sixth and final season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

“We are grateful to Hulu and MGM for allowing us to tell this story, which has unfortunately remained as relevant as ever throughout its run, and we are in awe of our incredible fans for their unwavering support, and without whom we would never have gotten to this point. spot.”

The Handmaid’s Tale will return in spring 2025 and will air on Hulu in the US and on both Channel 4 and main video in the UK.
