Seahawks vs. 49ers prediction, odds, spread, injuries and trends for NFL Week 11

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks meet for the second and final time in the 2024 season in Week 11.

Earlier this season, San Francisco earned a double-digit victory in Seattle over its NFC West rival, and could push the Seahawks down the NFC playoff picture with a home win on Sunday.

The oddsmakers have favored the 49ers by 6.5 points in this game, but they had a tough time beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

Meanwhile, Seattle is coming off a bye and hopes to have No. 1 wide receiver DK Metcalf back. Still, the Seahawks appear to be aiming for the future, having released two starters, Jerome Baker, and standout tackler Tyrel Dodson in recent weeks.

Here’s a breakdown of the odds, players to watch, and my best bet for Sunday’s divisional battle.

Seattle Seahawks

DK Metcalf: Seahawks star receiver DK Metcalf missed the team’s two games before the break, but could return Sunday against San Francisco. Earlier this season, DK was only able to make three receptions for 48 yards against the 49ers, but he had 568 yards and three touchdowns in seven total appearances this season.

San Francisco 49ers

Christian McCaffrey: After missing the first eight games of the season, CMC returned in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers star finished with 13 carries for 39 yards and six receptions (on seven targets) for 68 yards. He didn’t find the end zone. He will look to build on that performance in Week 11.

Seattle got off to a 3-0 start this season against Denver, New England and a banged-up Miami team, but has since gone just 1-5 and remains one of the NBA’s worst teams against the spread.

That’s a problem when it comes to facing this 49ers team that’s near-strength with McCaffrey back in action.

Seattle ranks in the bottom half of the NFL in yards per play allowed this season and ranks 21st in defensive EPA/Play. Now that Dodson and Baker are gone, one has to wonder if Seattle is really focused on winning this season.

Kyle Shanahan’s team has been solid at home this season, so don’t be surprised if they pull off another double-digit win over Seattle in Week 11.

Selection: 49ers -6.5 (-110)
