However, one Briton expressed skepticism about visiting the city, questioning its safety and calling on South Africans to share their perspective.

using the handle @amezianee On TikTok, a young British man who has 2.4 million followers on the application went to his account to ask people on Mzansi about security in the City of Gold.

In his video he asked:

“Guys, is Johannesburg really that dangerous? I keep saying, ‘Don’t go to Johannesburg. It’s dangerous.'” Is it really that bad?”
