LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – A man was taken to a trauma center Monday night after suffering serious injuries in a shooting.

The Lawrence Police Department stated that at 7:45 p.m., officers learned of a shooting in the 3300 block of Iowa Street.

They discovered that a man had been shot and was seriously injured. He was then taken to a trauma center.

Police said the shooting did not occur near the Walmart, but in a nearby neighborhood. They also told KCTV5 that no suspects had been arrested and it is believed there is more than one.
