(WIFR) – Rockford police say the 28-year-old man accused in the death of a 10-month-old baby is now in custody.

Zashawntray Pickett of Rockford was charged with first degree murder Oct. 29 after the death of a baby he reportedly knew.

Police asked the public for help finding him, but announced on November 2 that he was detained in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pickett also has six pending ordersaccording to the police.
