DISCUSSION:

Last weekend’s rain was certainly much needed throughout Eastern Kentucky. Certainly some places received more than others. We range from 0.10” in Warren County to 0.58” in Menifee County.

We start Monday with mostly cloudy skies and then end it with mostly sunny skies, which will lead to clear skies tonight.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: COOLER TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY

We will stay sunny on Tuesday, but we will see a breakthrough of the front as we move through the day. This front will bring much colder air with highs only reaching the mid 50s.

This is the first part of a two-part cooldown. We will recover to the mid and upper 60s during the day on Wednesday.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: OUR NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN

Rain chances will increase as we approach Wednesday night and throughout the day Thursday, clearing by Thursday night.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: ANOTHER COOLING DOWN

We will see another cool down as we move into Thursday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. We’ll stay in the upper 50s and low 60s for Friday before warming up for the weekend with highs in the mid 60s on Saturday and near 70 degrees on Sunday.

Enjoy your evening!
