Marvel, Lucasfilm and Disney make big announcements at D23 Brazil

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL — It was a weekend full of news, as fans were able to enjoy many announcements at D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience. We have some of the highlights for you.

Friday included live-action previews and announcements from Disney, Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Director Barry Jenkins presented the new trailer for his film “Mufasa: The Lion King.” The film will be in theaters on December 20.

Rachel Zegler, star of “Disney’s Snow White,” wowed the crowd and presented a trailer that was only shown to attendees.

Fans also got a glimpse the new “lilo” & stitch”movie. The live-action reimagining of the animated classic will hit theaters on May 23, 2025.

Saturday was all about Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios.

Star Wars fans received a lot of important news. First, Jude Law sent out a pre-recorded message, letting everyone know that his new series “Skeleton Crew” will be launching on Disney+ on December 3rd.

Fans also learned that “Andor” has a release date! The second season premieres on April 22, 2025 on Disney+.

And “The Mandalorian and Grogu” will hit theaters on May 22, 2025.

Marvel fans, you are not left out. Anthony Mackie and Danny Ramirez were on hand to introduce the new trailer (seen above) for “Captain America: Brave New World,” which hits theaters on February 14, 2025.

And David Harbor presented the New trailer for “Thunderbolts” will hit theaters on May 2, 2025.

On Sunday, fans were able to chat with the casts of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” “Phineas and Ferb,” ​​”The Bear,” “Alien: Earth” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
