Tom Cruise is back in action to take on another near-impossible task: could he be performing stunts like his motorcycle cliff jump or the big jump at the Paris 2024 Olympics? Only time will tell, but fans can expect more exciting moments in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The 62-year-old actor took instagram to share the news about the upcoming film and its trailer, stating: “Our lives are the sum of our choices. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.” According IMDbthe action movie will also star Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, vanessa kirbyand more.

Why was the title changed to final reckoning?

Initially, the film was intended as the “Second Part” of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. As the story continues, the title was changed to final reckoningalthough many expected it to be the “Second Part”.

When the seventh film was released, Cruise recalled in his instagram“I am very grateful to be able to travel the world to bring you these films.” He really embraced his role and took on a challenge worthy of Mission: Impossible by traveling to four US cities (Toronto, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Miami) to surprise fans at screenings in 2023.

Is Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning The last movie?

While the word “final” suggests that this may be Ethan Hunt’s (Cruise’s character) last mission, it’s not yet clear if it will be the last film in the franchise. According The Hollywood ReporterParamount wanted to promote the film as the “final” chapter to drive engagement.
