Houston Texans’ Kamari Lassiter suffers sickening butt of heads with own teammate

Houston Texans player Kamari Lassiter suffered a serious concussion Sunday night after a nasty clash of heads with his own teammate.

Midway through the third quarter of the game in Texas, Lassiter was attempting to tackle Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs as he ran down the sideline.

Lassiter, who had two interceptions in the game, narrowly avoided a big block by Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell, but in doing so, he got in the path of teammate Jimmie Ward.

As a result, their helmets collided and the blow sent Lassiter to the ground.

He was immediately assisted by doctors and taken for a concussion evaluation before being ruled out of the game.
