Hyderabad: A man was allegedly murdered by his brother-in-law over a financial dispute in Mailardevpally on Saturday night. The victim, Mohammed Saif, 30, had lent Rs 1 lakh to his relative, Ismail, an auto driver, who did not return it. Saif called Ismail to discuss the issue and after meeting near his house in Shama Colony, an argument ensued.

In a fit of rage, Ismail allegedly threw a rock at Saif, causing him fatal injuries, according to ACP P. Srinivas of Rajendranagar. The police arrived at the scene and took the body to the mortuary for autopsy.
