Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, spy action series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ premiered on Prime Video on the 6th^th November. The series, also starring Kay Kay Menon, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem and others, has garnered a tremendous response. Saqib plays the antagonist KD in the series, and his sister Huma Qureshi has now applauded his spectacular performance. Rajkummar Rao, Farah Khan and others have also praised him!

On Saturday, Huma Qureshi took to her Instagram account to share a photo of Saqib Saleem’s look test at Citadel: Honey Bunny in Serbia. The picture shows Saqib looking intense and sporting a haircut. Huma wrote that her brother makes her proud every day and that she has immense love for him. She praised his performance in the series and wrote that he is on fire in the latest episode! He also shared an image from Citadel: Honey Bunny, which features Saqib and a child holding a ball.

Rajkummar Rao agreed with Huma Qureshi and praised Saqib Saleem. “Saqu Rocks,” she wrote, along with heart-eyes and red hearts emojis. Meanwhile, Farah Khan commented, “@saqibsaleem is the best.”

Saqib shared Huma’s post on his Instagram story and replied, “Huma ji Shukriya, aapke kind words ke liye…aap humein khoob inspire karti hai…hum aapse atyant mohabbat karte hai… (Thank you for your kind words Huma. You inspire me very much. I love you very much). And that kid is fine… I bought him chocolates after the scene.”

Meanwhile, Citadel: Honey Bunny sparked some controversy after netizens noticed that Saqib Saleem was missing from the promotional events. Saqib broke his silence and recently shared a note that read, “Although I don’t have behind-the-scenes shots, if you look closely at the promotional items, you might see a familiar face.
