Ariana Grande fans furious over 2025 Grammy nominations snub

Ariana Grande fans express their anger after the The Grammy Awards snubbed the musician with his 2025 nominations.

the singer released his seventh album, “Eternal Sunshine.” in March after a three-year hiatus. The long-awaited album included hits like “Yes, And?” and “We can’t be friends (wait for your love).”

Even though the album broke records and Grande was praised for her vulnerability, the Grammys did not include the album or any of the songs in their main categories, such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year or Song of the Year.

The album “Eternal Sunshine” earned a spot in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, while “Yes, And?” obtained a nomination in the Best Dance Pop Recording category.

Grande, 31, received one final nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for her remix song, “This Boy is Mine” featuring Brandy and Monica.

Shortly after the nominations were released on Friday, Grande’s fans took to social media to share their outrage over the snubs of “Eternal Sunshine” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for your Love).”

“Eternal Sunshine is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year and the ONLY one this year to have multiple #1 singles and still not get any Album of the Year nominations, the #GRAMMYs are still rigged,” another user shared on X.

“That Ariana Grande is not nominated in the main categories is a JOKE. “The eternal sun and we can’t be friends were snubbed #GRAMMY,” someone wrote via X.

“We are already witnessing the Ariana Grande snub AGAIN! What do you mean We Can’t Be Friends isn’t nominated for best pop solo performance and video of the year? EMBARRASSING AS ALWAYS,” another fan. shared via X.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN ARIANA GRANDE WAS NOT NOMINATED FOR ALBUM, SONG AND RECORD OF THE YEAR? JUST A F-KING NOMINATION? JUSTICE FOR HER AND ETERNAL SUN! No wonder he wants to focus on acting, IT WAS STOLEN FROM HIM! an angry fan wrote in X.

“We Can’t Be Friends with Ariana Grande was easily the BEST video of the year with no contender coming close, the Grammys will pay for snubbing this amazing song from the music video and song categories,” another user commented via X.

“Eternal Sunshine was snubbed in the AOTY category. Another year in which Ariana does not receive the respect she deserves in the music industry. She really is being sabotaged and kicked out by anyone except my sister….” another annoying user intervened in X.

Representatives for Grande and the Recording Academy did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Grande has not addressed the snub either.
