A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman in Glasgow.

Sandie Butler was found seriously injured after police were called to reports of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area of ​​the city at around 12.55pm on Tuesday, October 29.

The 40-year-old man died a short time later.

James McCrindle, 53, was charged in connection with the death and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, November 4.

He did not plead guilty to murder in a private hearing and will appear in court again.
