York man accused of alleged threats sparked hours-long standoff: PSP

A York man was arrested after an altercation with a gun led to an hours-long standoff with police, authorities report.

Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the scene of a domestic dispute in the 10 block of Eisenhart Mill Road around 8:20 a.m.

Authorities at the scene spoke with the victim, who stated that during an altercation with Brian Price, 43, he allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened her. Police documents state the victim ran from the residence.

State troopers then set up a perimeter around the area and attempted to get Price to leave the home for several hours. Price was then arrested without incident by Pennsylvania State Police.

Investigators discovered that due to a prior felony conviction, Price was not allowed to possess a firearm. He has been charged with weapons possession, terroristic threats and simple assault.

Price awaits a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 22.
