ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Beautiful fall weather is approaching for the last day of the work week. Highs on Friday will be in the mid to low 50s in SE MN and NE IA.

Temperatures will start in the mid 30s Friday morning and highs will approach 55-57 degrees in the afternoon. The wind will blow from the south around 5 to 15 mph. Mostly sunny skies are expected throughout the day. Clouds will be there from Friday to Saturday and there will be rain on Saturday afternoon.

Rainfall amounts will be between 0.10 and 0.25″ for all of SE MN and NE IA. The rains will arrive on Saturday afternoon. Showers will remain isolated across the region until Sunday morning.

High temperatures early next week will remain in the 50s with partly cloudy skies. Another weather factor will move into the upper Midwest on Wednesday with a chance of showers. Highs will drop to around 40 degrees Thursday before returning to the 50s next Friday.
