Featherweight will headline Sueños Music Festival 2025

Sueños, Chicago’s largest Latin music festival, will return to Grant Park in 2025.

After fans were disappointed by Featherweight set will be canceled in 2024 Due to the thunderstorms, Festival Sueños organizers announced on social media Thursday that it would return for a second round in 2025.

Organizers previously announced dates and pre-sale offerings for the Memorial Day weekend festival, which will take place May 24-25 at the lakefront park. Fans can enjoy musical performances, local food vendors, art installations, hair and makeup touch-ups and more.

A second stage will be added to the expanded festival grounds along with more staff, security, activities and food options.

Prospective attendees can register for early access to tickets and booking plans starting at noon on November 14 at dreamsmusicfestival.com.

Last year’s festival attracted more than 60,000 music fans, Sueños’ largest crowd yet, even though rain forced the cancellation of Peso Pluma’s highly anticipated Sunday performance.

First launching in 2022, the festival aims to create a space for Chicagoans to celebrate Latin culture and enjoy performances from some of the hottest and most popular artists in reggaeton, regional Mexican and Latin trap.

Details about next year’s festival, including the lineup, will be announced in the coming weeks, an event spokesperson said.

In July, the organizers agreed to a five-year deal with the Chicago Park District. The deal could include expanding the Grant Park festival for three days in the future. Paid attendance will be capped at 75,000 people per day.

Note: This story was updated on November 7 to include the Featherweight announcement by festival organizers.
