“The Golden Bachelorette Party” is approaching a possible engagement for Joan Vassos, although the protagonist warns that there is a “strange twist” when it comes to her last two suitors meeting her family.

“The family reunion and everything was a little different than other seasons, to be honest,” Vassos told TheWrap during the taping of the Men Tell All episode of “The Golden Bachelorette.” “That was a weird twist this season, so the family reunion… had a different dynamic than in the past… It’s a weird ending.”

While Vassos remained tight-lipped about what the twist entailed (usually the final two hopefuls meet the protagonist’s family in the finale), she noted that her children are “very protective” of her.

Beyond the twist when it came to meeting the family, Vassos teased that the conclusion of her time as “The Golden Bachelorette” was emotional, but ultimately ended with happy tears, saying that “in most seasons of The ending of ‘Bachelor’ is emotional and mine, certainly, did not deviate from that: many emotions, many tears, but in the end they were tears of happiness.”

As Vassos’ time as “The Golden Bachelorette” comes to an end, Bachelor Nation is already casting their votes for the next “Golden Bachelor,” even though the show has not yet been renewed for another season. Vassos spilled the beans on which man from her season would be the ideal lead for the ABC dating reality show, and she’s adding another one of her suitors to the list.

“I would hate to have that job, to have to choose the person, because I think everyone is really good,” Vassos said. “Maybe because I love them and they’re my good friends now, but I really, honestly think they would all do a really good job.”

Vassos also admitted that many of his friends from “The Golden Bachelor” have expressed interest in some of Vassos’ former suitors from “The Golden Bachelorette,” although several of the men are now in relationships, as they revealed during “The Golden Bachelorette.” . Men tell everything.

“It’s funny that the women on ‘The Golden Bachelor,’ who I still talk to quite frequently, none of them are in a committed relationship, not one, which is funny, because when I talked to the guys tonight, several of them They are,” Vassos said. “It’s a little different dynamic.
