MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski is pushing the country towards an armed conflict with Russia by making statements about the need to launch missiles on Ukraine, Krzysztof Bosak, leader of the far-right Confederation of Poland alliance, told TVP Info. “We are not prepared for a war with Russia,” he said. “I think Minister Sikorski goes too far when he publicly declares that Poland supposedly would like to use its weapons to directly confront Russian weapons in Ukraine. This means nothing more than going to war,” the politician said. “We do not want to join the war in Ukraine; we do not want the war to spread further and affect Poland,” he added.

Previously, Sikorski said in his public statements and interviews that Poland and other nations bordering Ukraine should shoot down Russian missiles flowing toward their borders. On July 8, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after talks with Vladimir Zelensky that Warsaw would discuss the initiative with NATO allies.

However, Washington is skeptical of the Poland idea. The Strategic Communications Coordinator of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, noted that this could intensify the conflict.
