MP Stalin attacks actor-politician Vijay over allegations against DMK – Tamil Nadu News

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday, November 4, responded to actor-turned-politician Vijay’s allegation against the ruling party.

Stalin was speaking at an event in Kolathur assembly constituency, Chennai, when he addressed Vijay’s allegation.

At the executive council meeting of his party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam on Sunday, 26 resolutions were passed. The most important were that he and his party opposed ‘One Nation, One Election’ and ‘neither-nor’.

In the meeting, the actor-turned-politician also claimed that the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu was not given enough importance to benefit a few. He also claimed that the DMK’s election manifesto was full of lies with the aim of capturing power.

Stalin refuted these accusations and said that most of the election promises had been fulfilled. “Some claim that our government has done nothing. Everyone should see this, regardless of party. Whatever promises we made, we have fulfilled them and the remaining two will be fulfilled soon,” Chief Minister Stalin said in his speech.

The Chief Minister said Tamil Nadu fared well in all growth-related data released by the Union Government, thanks to the Dravidian model of governance.

“Those who found new parties want the destruction of the DMK. I humbly wish to tell you to think about the success of this four-year government. Anna used to say in one line “long live the critics” and this is what I mean. I don’t care (about the criticism), our job is to work for the benefit of the people. “We don’t need to answer to anyone unnecessarily,” Stalin said.
