BUSCO BEACH, N.C. (WITN) – One person died overnight in an ATV crash at Busco Beach and ATV Park, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, Wayne County 911 received a call regarding an ATV accident around midnight. Authorities say it was a rollover accident that killed one person.

Authorities say Mar Mac Fire, Wayne County EMS, the sheriff and the Highway Patrol responded.

Busco Beach has seen several fatal accidents, including ATV and drowning deaths over the years.
