In response, Reddit fans searched the internet and unearthed old tweets from Amitabh Bachchan that show how different things once were. In previous years, Aishwarya Rai’s father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for Bachchan Bahu but even shared glimpses of how the family celebrated the big day.

The tweets from 2010 read: “S172 -First things first…thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday!! I have passed it on to her…she appreciates everything…love.”

In another tweet, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “S171 -…family dinner at Chinese in Taj where the function was held…and brought Aishwarya’s birthday…good feeling about the day.”
