An 18-year-old Jefferson City man died after a crash early Saturday morning in Moniteau County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol online accident report indicates the accident occurred on Route T at 2:41 a.m.

The report indicates the 18-year-old was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina north on Route T.

The vehicle left the right lane, was ejected and overturned.

He then crashed into a parked 1987 Kenworth.

The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

An ambulance crew took the 16-year-old passenger from Freeburg to University Hospital with serious injuries.

Effective Nov. 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol stopped including the names of people involved in motor vehicle accidents or boating/drowning incidents in its online accident reports.
