Taylor Swift suffers a technical failure on night 1 of the Eras Tour Indianapolis

She knows how to get it off her chest.

Taylor Swift handled a technical glitch like a pro on the first night of her Eras Tour in Indianapolis on Friday.

In a video obtained by Page Six, a stagehand is seen helping the pop superstar remove a microphone pack that was strapped to her waist after the battery apparently died during her performance of “Lavender Haze.”

Swift, 34, smiled despite the technical difficulties and didn’t seem fazed at all, as she continued singing the lyrics to the 2002 song while holding her earpiece.

When the mishap was over, the “Shake It Off” singer jumped vertiginously on stage as fans cheered her on.

Swift performed to a sold-out crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium for the first of her back-to-back shows this weekend in Indianapolis.

The “Karma” singer took the stage shortly after Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett declared November 1-3, 2024 as “Taylor Swift Weekend.”

“In honor of the upcoming three nights of Taylor Swift’s #ErasTour at @LucasOilStadium and the expected nine-figure economic impact it will bring to our city, I am pleased to proclaim the first weekend of November 2024 as the ‘Weekend of Taylor Swift’. in the city of Indianapolis,” Hogsett wrote via X last week.

Swift just left her Eras Tour shows in New Orleans last week, where she was joined by some of her famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star gushed about his experience on the pop star’s show. via Instagram on Thursday, and told his followers that he would “still be talking about seeing” Swift’s show in Louisiana in the years to come.

“Not just because it’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen/heard/felt. And not just because you see the amazing and positive economic impact that this tour has on small businesses throughout NOLA, a city that has been through so much for so long,” he explained in a lengthy caption.

“The main reason I will never forget this show is because it brings people together in so many ways. And in 2024 (where that feeling is very rare) it is something special and incredibly rare,” he continued.

“I don’t understand the unimaginable work, care, talent and discipline that @taylorswift generates to create an experience like this because I am not a scientist. It is a sporting event and a collective cultural phenomenon. “It’s gigantic but intimate.”

Reynolds concluded his message by stating that the “only bummer” is that Swift can’t be in the audience to experience the incredible show she puts on for fans.

“Seeing herself up there is something I wish she knew,” he said. “But that’s not physically possible and even if it were, you can’t get tickets at the last minute.”
