Donald Trump has me scared. There was a rise of hate groups during the Trump administration (55%) and hate crimes (20%). His inflammatory rhetoric stokes fear and defames both immigrants and their political rivals.

Then there is the question of its policies and competence. Trump claimed that his 2017 tax cuts and the tariffs he imposed on imported goods would allow the United States to begin paying down the national debt. Instead, the tariffs launched a global trade war. Trump ended up sending $28 billion to farmers negatively affected by his tariffs and the national debt rose a staggering 39% (7.8 trillion dollars). Trump is now calling for even higher tariffs than before, and the most immediate effect of his tariff plans could be increased costs for the consumer.

Please vote for Kamala Harris: competent, civil and respectful of the Constitution. It could make a big difference.
