Jersey Shore man charged with bullying after obscene phone call to family members he allegedly abused | News, sports, jobs

Troy Wayne Johnson, of 322 Front St., already charged with child welfare, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, has been charged with attempting to intimidate the alleged victims from whom those charges stem.

The incident began shortly before 6:40 on September 10, when Lycoming Regional Police responded to Johnson’s residence for a domestic disturbance.

Visibly distraught, the alleged victim told police she was just “a punching bag” for her 38-year-old husband, according to an affidavit.

Police observed cuts and marks on his body, as well as a black and blue left eye, according to court documents.

During one of the alleged assaults, Johnson pushed her up a series of steps and toward her youngest daughter, causing a burn on her knee, authorities allege.

“You caused all of this because of your lies and actions.” Johnson texted the alleged victim after she and her two children were transported to a friend’s house, police said.

Johnson was committed to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 for the incident and ordered to have no contact with the victims. However, three days later, Johnson called the alleged victim via a recorded line from the prison, ordering him to contact a bondsman, telling him he wanted out of prison that night, according to court documents.

Shortly after the call, the girl picked up the phone and greeted Johnson.

“I don’t want to talk to you right now.” Johnson told the girl, before referring to her and her mother as “(expletive) narcotics” an affidavit said.

“(Expletive) you too. (expletives) all of you (expletives)”, Johnson responded when greeted by his 8-year-old son, before using a racial slur.

Johnson then repeated his order to the alleged victim to get him out of jail that night, telling her that the house is in his name.

“I hope you and those (expletive) kids burn in a (expletive) fire tonight.” Johnson was heard saying to the alleged victim, according to an affidavit.

“If I don’t get out of here tomorrow morning, I’ll make every aspect of your life hell.” Johnson told the alleged victim, before stating “You haven’t seen it yet, I promise.” the police allege.

Throughout the call, he continued to refer to the alleged victim and her children in crude, vulgar language.

“(Expletive), they didn’t do it. “They called the police.” Johnson told the alleged victim after she told him the impact his actions were having on the children, emphasizing that they did nothing to her, according to court documents.

He then hurled a sexual slur at the boy, at which point he ended the call.

Indicted on two counts each of intimidation, retaliation or obstruction in child abuse cases and retaliation against a witness, victim or party, by District Judge Denise Dieter, Johnson remains incarcerated at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $45,000 per this case.
