Dodgers fan hospitalized after falling from roof during World Series celebration

A man was seriously injured after falling from the third floor of a building during the Dodgers celebration on Friday center THE.

The incident occurred at 8th and Flower streets around 1:30 p.m. when the World Series parade and celebration he concluded.

Footage from SkyFOX showed dozens of people surrounding the man as he lay on the ground. Several people also rushed to help. Paramedics arrived and took the man to the hospital. His condition is unknown, but it appears that he may have suffered some head trauma.

Pricialla Flaherty saw the man after he fell. That’s when he said he noticed a child screaming.

“Everyone started screaming, and then I heard the son yell ‘That’s my dad, don’t go near him,'” Flaherty said.

Los Angeles police told FOX 11 the man was “engaged in graffiti-related activity.” Flaherty said the son told him his father reached out to grab something when he fell.

Tens of thousands of Dodgers fans gathered in Los Angeles on Friday morning to watch the parade and celebrate the team’s eighth title. The huge crowd made it difficult for paramedics to access the area.

The man and his son were taken to the hospital, where the man remains in an unknown condition.

Shortly after the celebration concluded, people were seen in the street throwing stones and bottles, and even fighting with the officers. The Los Angeles Police Department ordered crowd to disperse.

SkyFOX video showed officers in riot gear marching along the parade route.

The area near Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard was briefly closed after officers detained a person in the crowd for throwing a bottle at police, according to the LAPD.
