Gwen Stefani remembers the first Halloween she spent with her now husband Blake Shelton.

In honor of the spooky holiday on Thursday, October 31, the No Doubt singer recalled a 2015 Halloween party where she and Shelton were together before the public knew they were a couple.

In the unearthed photos uploaded to instagramStefani, 55, appeared to be dressed like some sort of undead cowgirl, dressed in a cute country outfit with fake blood splattered across her face and chest.

He posed for some selfies with Shelton, 48, who was wearing a multi-colored striped shirt and a Wienerschnitzel baseball cap, although it was unclear what the country singer was actually wearing.

Shortly after the photo was taken, Stefani and Shelton, who met while working as coaches on The Voice— confirmed their relationship the following month and made their red carpet debut as a couple three months later in February 2016. The two finally tied the knot in July 2021.

In the caption of her post on Thursday, Stefani posted what appeared to be lyrics to one of the songs from her long-awaited new album. Bouquetwhich falls next month.

“I met you in October. I had nothing to lose dressed like a country girl. I knew you would approve. I knew I had to kiss you on the Halloween moon,” she wrote under the post, apparently remembering the beginning of her romance with the singer from “Sangria”.

“OMG this is so cute I’m so obsessed,” one of her followers said in the comments, while someone else called the throwback snaps the couple in love “iconic.”

“Gwen, the girl with her true love,” another fan commented.

“THIS IS LOVE,” someone else wrote.

Stefani’s Halloween post also included a photo of marigold flowers, an apparent hint that the next single released from her new album will be track No. 5, “Marigolds.”

Your complete album, Bouquetwill be released on November 15.
