Gen Z Disney World employee defends after-hours ‘stripper’ style

Gen Z Disney World employee defends after-hours ‘stripper’ style

Mirror, mirror on the wall – who is the naked of all?

Answer: Jessie Lee.

The 21-year-old siren, a summer employee of Disney World Resorts, is setting off social media’s NSFW sirens for wearing a sexy Snow White-inspired outfit that makes Sleepy, Dopey, and Bashful blush.

And virtual vultures say Lee’s high-ho, high-ho clothes make her look like a “stripper.”

“Inappropriate for Disney,” one hater spat under viral TikTok images of the brunette’s rique wardrobe, which featured a red high-neck crop top, matching mini shorts and a pair of Snow White-esque Mickey Mouse ears.

“You went to a family park with kids and acted like a stripper,” an equally outraged onlooker noted.

“Give dads something to watch,” wrote another.

But Lee insists her striking ‘fit’ wasn’t unsuitable. Instead, she thinks her critics are merely “uneducated” about how Gen Z actually dresses for fun.

“This outfit is not revealing,” Lee, an underage student from Britain, told Kennedy News. “These people are less informed about what people wear in the parks.”

However, Disney’s modest dress code has been questioned in recent years.

When it comes to clothing dos and don’ts, Disney clearly states: “Clothes that naturally expose excessive areas of skin that may be considered inappropriate for a family environment,” according to the site.

Disney reserves the right to flag theme park guests who violate dress code rules. AP

The parks also note: “We reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove any individual wearing clothing we deem inappropriate or clothing that could detract from the experience of other guests.”

However, a number of daredevil visitors have ignored the guidelines recently and worn whatever they wanted – often to their own detriment.

Jordyn Graime, a 20-something from New Jersey, was reprimanded for showing a little too much skin while wearing a backless top and short shorts at the Happiest Place on Earth. The Garden State girl was forced to cover up with a free Disney T-shirt.

TikTok tastemaker Heleni thought donning a barely-there bikini in the mouse house would get her some merchandise, too. But to the smoke show’s annoyance, a Disney gatekeeper “forced” her to buy an expensive top before she could enter the park.

But Lee insists her controversial crop top and tiny cut-offs didn’t cause a stir during her day at Disney.

From June to August, the great Brit was based in Florida and worked at Disney through its cultural exchange program.

While on the clock, she wore her professional uniform – a white blouse, black knee-length trousers and an “Earning My Ears” badge – provided by the company.

But when she was off duty, Lee and her colleagues were free to dress up as they pleased.

“I wore this outfit on my day off when we got free admission to the park,” she explained. “Working there, I saw hundreds of people and what they were wearing in the parks every day.”

“I thought I matched what everyone else was wearing.”

Lee says her questionable couture went unnoticed by her fellow Disney employees, who are better known as “cast members.”

“No one said anything to me in the park that day,” she said. “I went into the park twice in that outfit and went into different parks in it, and not a single staff member batted an eyelid.”

“I went into stores and attractions,” Lee added, “and no one said anything or thought anything decent about it.”

It was only when she shared images of her robe online that Lee came under fire.

“I was in disbelief,” she said of the online criticism. “It wasn’t like I was in a formal setting. I just had fun. No one even thinks twice about a crop top.”

“The shorts were short,” she admitted, confessing that she laughed at the comments comparing her tiny bottom to an “adult diaper.”

“But,” Lee continued, “they were not revealing and as short as most people wear in the Florida heat.”

And despite the viral vitriol, Lee vows to continue following the challenging trend.

“Wear whatever you want at your discretion,” the controversial Disney darling said. “You need to feel comfortable, but you’re there to have fun.”
