Harassment claims by Arab Muslim SBA employees are taken to court

The Small Business Administration must be tried on whether it created a hostile work environment for an employee who was temporarily hired during the Covid-19 pandemic because of her religion and national origin, a federal judge in Michigan ruled.

A jury could find that the alleged harassment hindered the Arab Muslim woman’s job performance during her tenure at the SBA, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said Thursday.
