The developers of inZOI, intended to compete with The Sims, have confirmed that the title will be released later this year. However, this is just the beginning of the adventure, as it will take many years before the creators’ full vision is realized.

Challenge agenda The Sims is extremely difficult. Even Paradox was not up to the task and eventually canceled the Life by You project. However, the Korean company Krafton has no intention of giving up. The representative just revealed plans regarding the inZOI project.

  1. First of all, that was confirmed inZOI will debut in Early Access later this year.
  2. The game’s developers are preparing for a long run. Hyungjun Kim, the director of inZOI said it would take at least a decade to fully realize his vision.
  3. However, it won’t end there. Krafton wants that inZOI being developed for 20 years.

The makers need so much time because their ambitions are enormous. Among other things, they want to add many new cities from different countries and cultures to the game in the future, and allow players to create almost anything they want.

Compete with The Sims4 won’t be easy. Even Electronic Arts has given up on making the traditional fifth installment of the series for now and is instead working on the more experimental Project Rene.

Despite this, inZOI has a good chance to make a big impact in this category. As opposed to the heavily cartoonish The Sims series, The Korean game is expected to focus on a highly realistic visual style. In addition, the game offers an open world and elements such as driving. Is this enough to win the hearts of fans of these types of productions? We’ll find out soon enough.
