The first season of the penguin It may have come to an end, but fans are still filled with excitement and aren’t ready to let Gotham’s latest villain go just yet.

With its gripping narrative, memorable characters and Colin Farrell With his standout performance as Oz Cobb, the series left viewers on the edge of their seats, and like any great miniseries, fans are already requesting another chapter of the story.

The season finale was brutal, to say the least, and while it may have wrapped up some storylines, it also introduced some new questions that fans of the comic book adaptation are eager to explore. Fortunately, it looks like there may be some murmurs throughout the DC universe that a new chapter of the penguin could potentially return to our screens.

Will there be a season 2 of The Penguin?

After the explosive season finale, fans are clamoring for more, but will there be a second season of the penguin? While nothing has yet been 100% confirmed, series star Colin Farrell has shared that he would be eager to reprise his role.

“If there’s a great idea (for Season 2) and the writing was really muscular and as strong or stronger on the page than the first season, of course I would do it,” he said. The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to Farrell, showrunner Lauren LeFranc also shared her excitement for a second season, telling Forbes, “I mean, I really care about all of these characters, even if they’re terrible people.”

“It’s been a pleasure writing them… I think Gotham City is a really fun sandbox to play in, and I’d love to keep playing in it, but I think it has to be the right thing to do.”
