Emmerdale spoilers: Moira and Cain will have a special episode

emmerdale has confirmed plans for a special episode next week when Moira Dingle will undergo surgery.

The ITV soap is currently airing a big story about Moira, who was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumor two months ago.

Moira has since decided to undergo surgery to remove the tumour. She turned down an initial date. from the hospital when he collided with Zak Dingle’s funeral and she felt she needed to support her husband Cain.

As Moira’s rescheduled operation date approaches next week, she continues to prepare for the worst possible outcome.

Cain struggles with the idea that he could lose Moira forever and hides in the garage, where he appears tormented as he considers the grim possibilities of what the future holds.

In a change from the show’s usual storytelling style, Cain’s story will unfold in reverse chronological order.

emmerdale Producer Sophie Roper commented: “This concept episode is a story of two halves as we explore Cain and Moira’s separate journeys on the day of Moira’s brain surgery.

“We first dramatized Moira’s experience as she undergoes the operation before breaking up with the soap, and played the second half of the episode in reverse order to reveal Cain’s journey, while Moira was in the theater.”

Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira, also said digital spy and another press: “Moira and Cain are terrified. Cain is very afraid of losing her, and when Cain is out of control, that’s when Cain does things that are out of control himself: he can’t control the situation. scared because it’s a big stuff.

“Moira is absolutely terrified, mainly because she could lose him but never see her children again and obviously she has already experienced a loss. The last thing she wants is to abandon her children, so it’s really about her children and losing them is at the same time. She just feels very vulnerable.

“Moira is like an ox: she has a strong character. She worries about suddenly losing her identity and slowly losing little pieces of her. There is a fear that after the operation, will she be right?”

And he added: “Cain internalizes everything and that’s the problem. Moira knows it with him, that’s why she’s always watching him and worrying. She’ll always know when something isn’t quite right.

“On the other hand, Moira is trying to get everything out in the open, because for her this could be the last time she tells Cain, so it’s important that she vocalize things.

“She’s always been more outspoken and that’s why they work a lot of the time because they’re yin and yang; she’s a great communicator and he’s not. But when they communicate, it just works. It’s like a lot of marriages.”
