His counterparts at least gave everyone a heads up about his upcoming tour

days later releasing a surprise EP noble Heaven let them die in the world that likely caused significant structural damage due to sudden moshing, Counterparts He’s doing the right thing and at least let us know about the announcement of his upcoming tour.

In a tweet sent today, the boys revealed that they will be announcing a North American tour tomorrow. We don’t know much after that in terms of dates, locations, support acts… really any relevant information needed to announce a tour, but here we are. Anticipation is building and people are likely to get excited as everyone comes out to hear some of the incredibly heavy songs from last week’s EP release.

Given how heavy the tracks are on the EP, it’s no surprise that old school fans will thoroughly enjoy the new record, while newer fans can still appreciate how modern and heavy it sounds. Certainly, this new EP marks a much harder and heavier turn for Counterparts. Speaking about the release, frontman Brendan Murphy said Heaven let them die is a spiritual sequel of sorts to their 2022 album Praise for those who are still here.

Heaven let them die is Counterparts at our most aggressive: sonically, lyrically and visually. Picking up where Praise term, Heaven let them die It details how I came to terms with everything I had foreshadowed in the previous version and how that led me to where I am now. This EP is the most authentic representation of Counterparts to date: honest, harsh and no holds barred.”

That’s an exciting statement about the EP and the upcoming tour as a whole. If things continue as they are, this won’t be the last we hear about Counterparts anytime soon.
