Martha Stewart makes another confession about the ex-husband she cheated on

Martha Stewart has revealed she hasn’t spoken to her ex-husband Andrew ‘Andy’ Stewart in 20 years.

After recently admitting that having an affair during her marriage to her first and only husband was “easy,” the businesswoman made another surprising revelation about her ex on Monday at the New York premiere of her Netflix documentary.

When asked if her ex-husband had seen the documentary, 83-year-old Martha replied: ‘The ex-husband? I have no idea.’

“Unfortunately, I haven’t spoken to him in over 20 years,” she added.

Martha and Andy were married from 1961 to 1990 and shared daughter Alexis Stewart, whom they welcomed in 1965.

The lifestyle mogul’s comments come after she recently admitted it was “very easy” to keep her cheating secret for 30 years.

Speaking at her 100th book launch party in Manhattan earlier this month, Martha joked about her infidelity when friend Lee Brian Schrager quipped, “If you’re looking for ideas (for another book), maybe you can talk about how you (had) an affair that took place 30 years ago and you kept it a secret, how is that possible?’

Martha took the microphone from Lee’s hand and replied with a grin on her face, “Very easy, you have to be attentive.”

She previously revealed in the trailer for her upcoming documentary Martha that she was unfaithful to Andy.

Fans will get a glimpse into her life in the upcoming Netflix documentary, in which she opens up about her cheating.

In the documentary’s trailer, Martha said, “Young women, listen to my advice: If you’re married and your husband starts cheating on you, he’s a piece of shit. Get out of that marriage.”

“Didn’t you have an affair early on?” the producer joked, to which Martha replied, “Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that.”

Martha started dating Andy – who has been her only husband to date – when she was just 19 and he was 23, after they went on a blind date.

The couple married in 1961. However, by 1987, the couple had separated and their divorce was finalized in 1990.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline in 2014, author Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote the Martha biography Just Desserts, claimed that Martha “treated her husband shabbily.”

He said: ‘She had a hellish marriage of more than a quarter of a century, during which she treated her husband shabbily. It was a horrible union that ended in a nasty divorce.”

Martha was impressed when she attended the premiere of her Netflix film on Monday evening.

She wore a lavender zip-up jacket, metallic silver pants and peep-toe high heels.

The star was joined by Sting’s wife, Trudie Styler, 70, who cut an elegant figure in a cream coat and skirt.

Designer Tory Burch, 58, was also in attendance, looking chic as ever in an oversized black coat with a gold belt buckle.

Jamie Tisch, 56, wore a beaded snakeskin coat and matching heels for the occasion, while writer Candace Bushnell, 65, dazzled in a shimmering navy minidress and heels.
