FH St. Pölten: Junge Erwachsene als Citizen Scientists im Kampf gegen Disinformation

The project “Young Citizen Scientists Against Disinformation” (YCSAD) has helped young people study at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and Donau-Universität Krems with disinformation in new communication channels. The younger years play a role as Citizen Scientists and are active in Research.

ST. PÖLTEN. With the new communication technology – social media – how art and well-being are, information is obtained, ground legend changes. Medieninhalte können in kürzester Zeit has been established and expanded. If you gain information and use it occasionally, this is a standard walking tour. If you want to do this, you can get more information: disinformation can be processed easily and quickly. Spezielljunge Menschen verbs can end up in the social media and have other consequences for the consequences of those problems.

With the new project ‘Young Citizen Scientists Against Disinformation’, Lukas Daniel Klausner, researcher at the Institute for IT Security Research and at the Center for Artificial Intelligence at FH St. Pölten, and Bettina Pospisil, can conduct research at the infrastructure research center of the Sicherheit at the University for Weiterbildung Krems, das Thema Disinformation on the perspective of young erwachsener erforschen.

Gerade of the generation, who is becoming self-conscious about the internet and social media, is a small part of a large number of learning moments that don’t even learn anymore all semester. If I’m looking for a project to market a serialized project, it can be uncritical with the social media input from a large number of people being recruited at the highest levels,”

says Co-Project Leader Lukas Daniel Klausner.

Junge Erwachsene rode mit

The ideas of the research projects became one of the ideas that could increase their knowledge through the young years of the citizen scientists (“Bürger*innen-Wissenschaftler*innen”) and their know-how and their experiences. If the Alltags are viewed at a young age through the standard confrontation with the media and information that is strongly displayed, they will be selected in the project project itself, a (dis)information critical analysis.

“The YCSAD project has its origins in the science and technology sector and perhaps can use the art, however we can do business, to be active in our Soul Group. Deshalb will not help our Citizen Scientists as a researcher, who in his line as an expert* is in his own Alltags with (dis)information. If we look at the knowledge that the Citizen Scientists acquired, this was a Wissenschaft en Gesellschaft of his research and his art with (dis)information that we could learn”

concrete Projektleiterin Bettina Pospisil.

Strategies against disinformation

The time when the information about young people is drawn, as passive consumers of web contents and their autonomy and their quality of life is characterized by their own default strategies that can dispose of the information with disinformation. In this context, the research team works with classes from three higher schools in the North (HLW Tulln, HTL St. Pölten, BRG Krems) in the future.

Disinformation platform for construction

One of the searches of the schüler*innen can request data about (dis)information, which is relevant to their relevant alltags, to collaborate and use. The material and excerpts of the themes discussed with the young Citizen Scientists were researched. If you follow the knowledge of the development projects and post the information on a certain disinformation platform, the beds and the ideas become younger and younger and included in the information information.
“With the project, a fruitful development of American Science and Society can take place. Young erwachsene scholars were über das schaftliche Arbeiten und de Wissenschaftler*innen lernen en were über erfahrungen junior erwachsener mit Disinformation“, Freut sich Lukas Daniel Klausner.
