The Beatles are considered one of the most influential and successful bands in the history of pop music. The band was so popular that fans from all over the world I would chase them down, meet them at airports and anything else possible to catch a glimpse of the Fab Four. This phenomenon was called “Beatlemania.”

On February 9, 1964, 70 million Americans saw the band on the Ed Sullivan Show. This monumental event launched The Beatles’ career as the hearts of another nation turned towards the four Liverpool musicians. It would become the new norm for the screams and cries of the young women to drown out the group’s performances.

Decades after the band broke up, they still remain among the most successful musicians who ever lived. The Beatles have 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, the most of any band. Surprisingly, the Liverpool boys are actually the best-selling music group of all time, with estimated sales of 600 million units worldwide.

The Beatles broke up in 1970, but their fame never faded and fans were treated to a new project earlier this year. Thanks to AI, the band even managed to release a new single. ‘From time to time’ in November 2023. And even today, the band has a new entry on the British charts. The band’s single ‘From Us to You – December 1, 1963’ peaked at number 91 on this week’s official physical singles charts.
