Law enforcement agencies will take stern action if any organization linked to the mass killings tries to carry out any political programme, adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain said today (Nov 9).

He made these remarks today in a post on his verified Facebook account, in the context of the first demonstration called tomorrow by the Awami League (AL) in the city since its overthrow on August 5 following a massive student-led uprising.

The Awami League called for a rally at Shaheed Nur Hossain Square in the capital’s Ground Zero tomorrow at 3 pm in memory of Shaheed Nur Hossain Day and demanding democratic rights.
