KC man accused of molesting 12-year-old believed to be 16-year-old

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man has been accused of inappropriate interactions with a 12-year-old boy who he thought was 16 at the time.

Clinton County, Missouri Circuit Court documents filed on Wednesday, October 16, reveal that Blake MD Brown, 23, of Kansas City, has been charged with assault after it was alleged he had inappropriate interactions with a 12-year-old boy . for.

A probable cause statement revealed that Lathrop police had received reports from the victim, who was 18 years old at the time of the report, that they had had sexual intercourse with Brown several times when they were just 12 years old.

Investigators determined Brown believed the victim was 16 at the time of the crimes in November 2019. He was 18 years old. A criminal summons was issued Thursday, with an initial appearance set for Dec. 3 at 1 p.m.

As of Sunday, Brown appears to no longer be behind Missouri bars. No further information has been released.
